Key Responsibilities:


The Senior Project Management Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Vice President of Quality by overseeing department-wide project management functions and providing additional operational assistance.

This role involves collaborating with quality leadership on project management and supervision of various Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives, which may include external reporting obligations; engaging with system leaders regarding project activities, risks, and challenges; and supporting project metrics along with other data and reporting requirements.

The QI project specialist will be essential in managing and reporting on the department's initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, which encompasses identification, project request intake, project execution, and monitoring.


Primary Duties:
1. Develop, implement, and oversee quality improvement initiatives and projects aligned with organizational objectives.

2. Act as the primary liaison for all quality improvement endeavors, coordinating with various departments as necessary.

3. Prepare, analyze, and disseminate project updates and performance reports to all relevant stakeholders.

4. Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, consistently reporting on project status and outcomes.

5. Collaborate closely with project teams to assist in formulating project plans, identifying potential risks, and devising mitigation strategies.

6. Support the identification of best practices and opportunities for continuous improvement.

7. Design and deliver QI training to staff members, promoting a culture of ongoing enhancement.

8. Work with leadership to integrate quality considerations into strategic planning and decision-making processes.

9. Utilize data analysis to pinpoint improvement opportunities and assess the effectiveness of QI initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare services administration, business administration, or a related field.

At least one year of experience in quality, project management, and/or accreditation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred:
Experience with project management software.

PMP certification.

Prior experience or training in relevant methodologies.

Work Hours:
8am-4pm
