Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Client Manager to become a vital part of our Property & Casualty division. This role is based in Omaha, NE, and is designed for individuals who excel in collaborative environments, possess exceptional communication skills, and have a strong desire for continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary function of this role is to assess the needs and risks of our clients, assist in the development of tailored insurance programs, and enhance client relationships through professional expertise delivered in a timely manner. Responsibilities include:
- Understanding client operations and effectively communicating their needs to appropriate insurance carriers.
- Supporting the sales team in marketing new and renewal property/casualty insurance programs.
- Managing daily client service tasks, including renewal marketing and addressing client inquiries.
Client Service Duties:
This role involves servicing complex accounts and ensuring exceptional customer service. Key duties include:
- Tracking renewal deadlines and reviewing existing insurance to evaluate future needs.
- Providing timely responses to client requests and maintaining awareness of client service issues.
- Facilitating proactive communication with clients to address concerns and enhance service offerings.
Account Administration:
Responsibilities include:
- Leading account management and attending relevant meetings.
- Preparing renewal applications and ensuring accurate invoicing.
- Maintaining accurate client information and documentation.
Technical Duties:
In this role, you will manage various complex insurance plans and interpret policy provisions to ensure proper coverage.
Marketing and Sales Process Duties:
Participate in the sales process by:
- Identifying optimal markets for new and renewal accounts.
- Negotiating premiums and preparing submissions.
- Exploring opportunities for additional insurance lines and agency services.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with team members to:
- Coordinate client service responsibilities.
- Foster positive relationships within the team and agency.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and special projects.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Advanced knowledge of property casualty coverages.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma is required, with a college degree preferred. Candidates must hold an active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent's license or be able to obtain one within three months of hire. A minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, underwriting, or risk management within the insurance sector is essential.
