Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate client needs and risks to create customized insurance programs
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and technical expertise
  • Collaborate with sales teams to market new and renewal insurance programs
  • Manage complex insurance plans, including claims made policies and loss sensitive risk funding plans
  • Interpret policy contractual provisions and understand policy forms and endorsements
  • Participate in new and renewal sales processes, including determining optimal markets and negotiating premiums with carriers
Requirements
  • Active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent's license required or ability to acquire within three months of hire
  • Minimum 5+ years of customer service, underwriting, or risk management experience in the insurance industry
  • Advanced knowledge of property casualty coverages and ability to apply that knowledge in the performance of job duties
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to interpret policy contractual provisions and understand policy forms and endorsements
