Patient Care Associate

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist registered nurses in providing patient care and support functions.
- Provide physical care to patients, including bed baths, toileting, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and perform other monitoring activities as needed.
- Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
- Obtain and label specimens as needed.
- Mentor and teach new nursing assistants to meet performance expectations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Recent experience and/or training in clinical patient care.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
- Enrollment in a nursing, pre-med, or physician assistant undergraduate program.
- Possession of a valid license, certification, or enrollment in a nursing assistant, medical assistant, mental health technician, or EMT-accredited program.
