Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Commonwealth Building Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and project coordination, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Construction Phase:
  • Review and comprehend construction documents, identifying design deficiencies and potential code violations.
  • Attend bid review meetings and assist the estimating team.
  • Plan and implement the Critical Path Schedule.
  • Negotiate contracts with contractors and vendors.
  • Procure materials and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
  • Construction Phase:
  • Coordinate daily with the project superintendent to ensure project goals are met.
  • Manage construction resources and activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Review and manage productivity to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards.
  • Post-Construction Phase:
  • Work closely with the project superintendent to ensure all punch lists are completed promptly.
  • Prepare and execute all closeout requirements listed in the contract.
  • Analyze and produce final budget/job cost reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, MS Project, and Procore.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
