Job Summary:

The University of North Carolina Health Care system is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pediatric Clinical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in our Level IV Neonatal Critical Care Center (NCCC).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care to neonatal and pediatric patients in the NCCC
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment to optimize medication use and distribution
  • Precept students from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and residents
  • Participate in training new pharmacy staff as required

Requirements:

  • BS in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school/college of pharmacy
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the State of North Carolina
  • Completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 residency in pediatrics or equivalent level of pharmacy experience preferred
