We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team in the Children's Operating Room at UNC Medical Center. As a key member of our OR team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide competent clinical nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing surgery, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric OR setting.
