About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Content Strategist to join our marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy that drives results and enhances our brand voice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize SEO-focused content using tools like SEMrush and Screaming Frog
  • Create and iterate email marketing campaigns, analyzing performance and making data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop targeted marketing strategies
  • Execute and improve social media strategies, including building and maintaining social calendars and demonstrating progress
  • Manage projects alongside the marketing team using a structured project management process

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of content writing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics
  • Proven ability to use data to inform marketing decisions and drive results
  • Strong analytical and creative skills, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest marketing trends
What You'll Do in the First 3 Months

Develop a solid understanding of our product, customers, and SEO strategy

Establish relationships with the sales and product teams, actively participating in cross-functional meetings

Join customer interviews to gather valuable insights and jump into content creation

Take ownership of onsite SEO, looking for low-hanging fruit opportunities

What You'll Do in the First 6 Months

Analyze and optimize content for SEO, measuring rankings and setting targets

Regularly update email marketing campaigns based on performance data

Execute test campaigns to refine messaging and improve engagement

Create and launch a social media calendar

What You'll Do in the First 12 Months

Establish SEO and email marketing as key drivers of marketing results, with measurable success

Refine and standardize best practices for content creation and SEO strategies

Build out automation for scalable email and social media strategies

Deliver consistent improvements in SEO rankings and performance metrics

Lead efforts to maintain and enhance brand voice across marketing channels

Demonstrate strong campaign performance through detailed reporting and analysis

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $60,000-75,000 annually, depending on relevant experience, with variable quarterly bonuses.
