Overview:

Our Medical-Surgical Unit, Kelemen 8, provides care for patients with a wide range of diagnoses, illnesses, and disease processes. This unit features telemetry capabilities for our patients, ensuring they receive the highest level of care. With frequent admissions and discharges, our team is well-equipped to handle the dynamic needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and contribute to their plan of care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and their families or significant others.
  • Maintain high standards of professional ethics and integrity.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of patient care experience in a similar role.
  • Completion of at least one fundamental nursing course in an accredited RN Program.
  • Successful completion of an unlicensed healthcare provider/technician program.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • AHA Basic Life Support certification.
  • Successful completion of EKG and Phlebotomy training during orientation.
