Job Summary

Pella Mid-Atlantic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Installation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of windows and doors in residential applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and verify installation schedules with the project coordinator and/or installation supervisor.
  • Direct work processes at job sites, ensuring that installations are completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Identify and verify installation requirements, including materials, tools, and work aids.
  • Install windows and doors according to Pella Corporation's installation guidelines and quality standards.
  • Test and demonstrate the operation of installed products to customers.
  • Ensure that job sites are clean and tidy after installation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and represent Pella Mid-Atlantic in a professional manner.
  • Train new employees on operating procedures and product knowledge.
  • Perform order verification's as needed to meet business needs.
  • Conduct job site inspections of sub-contracted installers as necessary.
  • Perform recovery work as required to meet business needs.
Requirements
  • AA or technical degree preferred, high school diploma with experience.
  • 4-5 years of construction experience with leading projects.
  • Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology, or window and door applications or components is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Experience with Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Reasoning abilities, including problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and attention to detail.
