At Kimbrell's Furniture, we're seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued customers while collecting payments. This role requires a high level of professionalism, customer service, persuasion, and negotiation skills, as well as a mind for problem-solving to work with customers to resolve their debts and collect payment. A high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and excellent record keeping ensure that payment plans are recorded and followed as agreed. Your responsibilities will include interacting with customers diligently, courteously, and professionally while collecting payments, handling transactions accurately and responsibly, following set strategies for collection procedures, monitoring accounts to identify outstanding debts, gathering and verifying customers' personal and credit information, retaining customer loyalty while initiating processes for the collection of payments, and maintaining and updating records of customers from whom collections are made. To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience or a similar role, cooperation and the ability to work in a team setting, knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques, working knowledge of MS Office and databases, patience and ability to manage stressful work situations, excellent communication skills (written and oral), office experience, and problem-solving skills. Weekend and holiday availability is also required. As a bilingual customer liaison, you will be able to communicate effectively with our Spanish-speaking customers, providing them with the same level of exceptional service that we're known for.
