Position Summary

The Site Evaluation Specialist will serve as a critical member of our Quality Assurance team, focusing on delivering thorough assessments to aid the design team in preparing photovoltaic installations. We seek a reliable individual who embodies high standards of ethics, professionalism, and effective communication with the Momentum team, clients, and management. The ideal candidate will possess technical skills, take pride in their work, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.


Key Responsibilities

  • Document and upload shade analysis reports, collected data, and images of completed tasks daily.
  • Complete both paper and digital site evaluation forms.
  • Utilize provided technology, including laptops, tablets, and mobile devices, to upload information.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of site evaluations, construction sequencing, methods, and materials.
  • Prior experience in in-home sales with a proven track record is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Organize and maintain both physical documents and electronic files.
  • Exhibit excellent written communication skills for preparing detailed site evaluations.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations, with or without electronic assistance.
  • Be proficient in using smartphone applications and digital photography.
  • Possess basic computer skills, including file management and email communication.
  • Interpret plans, specifications, diagrams, and material data sheets.
  • Follow established processes while working independently.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners and the management team, providing comprehensive summaries of work completed.
  • Engage with colleagues and participate in regular meetings.

Experience Requirements
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Conduct physical site evaluations using various tools and equipment, including data collection devices and personal protective gear.
  • Measure roof features, including planes, vents, and obstructions.
  • Ability to work independently for extended periods while adhering to a set schedule.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in construction, building sciences, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience with electrical panels is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of residential electrical systems is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience in solar energy and roofing is preferred.

Physical Demands

The role requires the ability to perform essential functions safely and effectively, including:

  • Climbing ladders and stairs.
  • Working in various environments, including rooftops and attics.
  • Handling equipment such as ladders and tools.
  • Working in extreme weather conditions.
  • Using office equipment to verify the accuracy of work performed.
