Role Description

We are in search of a dedicated Operations & Maintenance Technician to enhance our Service Department. The ideal candidate should possess technical proficiency and a solid understanding of basic wiring and schematics necessary for diagnosing and maintaining solar systems. We value reliability and professionalism, expecting our technicians to maintain high ethical standards and effective communication with colleagues, clients, and management.

• Hourly Pay: $20-$25 based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and monitor the performance of electrical equipment, identifying hazards and making necessary adjustments or replacements.
• Assist with tasks on rooftops.
• Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Maintain and repair motor control centers and programmable logic controls.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promoting workplace safety and environmental best practices.
• Perform various job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Solar Systems is Required
• Ability to assess and resolve issues with Enphase systems.
• Capability to lift solar panels and set up ladders independently.
• Familiarity with the Enlighten app is necessary.
• Proficient in using iOS and Android systems for documentation and troubleshooting.
• Some Electrical Experience is Required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working on roofs and in attics.
• Valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record is Required
• Able to work independently or as part of a small team.
• Willingness to work on weekends.
