Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a project integration capacity, managing project schedules, budgets, and resources, particularly in organizing and executing construction initiatives for the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Proficient in identifying and addressing issues promptly to mitigate risks and costs while ensuring adherence to project specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and implement construction programs effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in preparing cost estimates, statements of work, evaluating contractor bids, and reviewing technical documents for accuracy.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and drafting software.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with team members and provide mentorship and training.
  • Adaptable to fluctuating workloads.
  • Involved in strategic planning processes.
  • Quick to learn DoD-specific transportation logistics systems.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred, although relevant experience in Facility Management or similar roles may be considered.

Certifications:

  • No specific certifications required.

Security Clearance:

  • Must currently possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate US DoD security clearance, which necessitates US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Employment is contingent upon the candidate receiving the necessary US DoD interim security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate contractor support for facility and system integration efforts in collaboration with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for the complete construction package.
  • Facilitate maintenance activities, both scheduled and unscheduled, with relevant stakeholders, ensuring functional testing and system operations are performed as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all project requirements throughout the work process.
  • Organize and implement assigned construction programs effectively.
  • Assist in managing, scheduling, and executing various projects.
  • Support strategic planning, database management, training, drafting procedures, and budget submissions.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and statements of work.
  • Evaluate contractor proposals for technical adequacy.
  • Review documents for technical accuracy and assist in the preparation of technical manuals.
  • Maintain open and ongoing communication with the Project Manager and clients as the primary point of contact.
  • Provide technical expertise for assigned tasks and projects.
  • Conduct technical work within budgetary constraints and timelines.
  • Perform research or fieldwork as assigned.
  • Participate in, organize, and facilitate meetings as requested by the base customer.
  • Carry out additional duties as required.
