Required Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years in a project integration capacity, focusing on project management, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, particularly in construction initiatives for the Department of Defense.
  • Proven ability to identify and address issues proactively to minimize complications and costs while ensuring adherence to project specifications.
  • Capability to operate independently, effectively managing multiple construction programs and tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in preparing cost estimates, statements of work, evaluating contractor bids, and reviewing technical documents for accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and drafting software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to mentoring and training team members.
  • Adaptability to fluctuating workloads.
  • Experience in assisting with strategic planning initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate unique Department of Defense transportation logistics systems.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience in Facility Management or similar roles.
Certifications:
  • No specific certifications required.
Security Clearance:
  • Must currently possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain the necessary U.S. Department of Defense security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Employment is contingent upon receiving the required interim security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee contractor support for facility and system integration projects in collaboration with the Missile Defense Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities, both scheduled and unscheduled, with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective functional testing and system operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all project requirements throughout the execution of assigned construction programs.
  • Assist in the management, scheduling, and execution of various projects.
  • Support strategic planning, database management, training, procedural drafting, and budget submissions.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and statements of work.
  • Evaluate contractor proposals and review technical documents for adequacy.
  • Maintain open communication with the Project Manager and clients, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Provide technical expertise for assigned projects and tasks.
  • Conduct research and fieldwork as required.
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings as requested by the base customer.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
