Job Title: Bilingual Case Coordinator

At the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Case Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Intensive Services Unit, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate Supervision Introduction/Orientation sessions with new entrants to outline necessary supervision conditions.
  • Support participants in adhering to supervision schedules and legal proceedings.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify service needs and create collaborative service plans.
  • Provide strength-based, gender-specific, and culturally sensitive services, guided by the principles of risk, need, and responsivity.
  • Collaborate closely with a Peer Specialist and be prepared for court duties and community fieldwork within NYC.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years' experience working in human services with individuals with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and involvement in the criminal justice system.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of community treatment, support services, and resources.
