We are seeking an experienced Apartment Community Director to oversee the daily operations of Grand Vistas, a premier apartment community in Lynchburg, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service, quality, and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the property, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all rental and employment practices comply with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Supervise and ensure the maintenance of the property, including safety and quality standards.
  • Tenant Relations: Maintain accurate and well-organized tenant files, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor site staff, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Managerial or customer service experience, preferably in the multifamily housing industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Yardi and LIHTC/Affordable Housing programs is a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, energetic, and committed to high performance in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
