Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LVN

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with patients, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their health goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage patient care plans, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying areas of need and developing targeted care plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
  • Document patient care and progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records to inform future care decisions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted LVN license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • One year of experience as a Licensed Nurse, with a strong background in patient care and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
