Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication skills and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to improve patients' communication abilities, including speech, language, and cognitive skills.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor speech-language pathology students and staff to ensure high-quality patient care and professional development.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of full-time clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist.
  • Licensure as a Speech Pathologist by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • CPR certification.
