Job Overview:

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Mandatory IAT/M Level II - Security Plus certification prior to employment.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Unified Communications, Cisco Management Systems, Cisco Codec, and related CMS technologies, including VSU/Gatekeeper.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on AV/VI/UC topics, overseeing emerging technologies and managing all aspects of conference room integrations.
  • Contribute significantly to the AV/VI/UC program, ensuring the effective implementation of new technologies.
  • Serve as the SME for AV, VI, and UC systems and equipment.
  • Oversee the integration, operation, and compatibility of AV, VI, and UC equipment.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting techniques and procedures for AV, VI, and UC systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in AV, VI, and UC systems, from design to complex troubleshooting, regardless of vendor.
  • Possess IAT Level II and Security Plus certification for the ability to repair, replace, modify, and resolve issues with AV, VI, and UC equipment.
  • Experience with Digital Display systems such as JANUS displays for information dissemination on existing monitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate both short-term and long-term IT strategies by identifying specific technology solutions and refresh opportunities to fulfill mission requirements.
  • Develop and oversee a Lifecycle Management Plan.
  • Implement agile methodologies across all changes, releases, and initiatives.
  • Coordinate fielding implementation schedules with relevant parties.
  • Submit Requests for Change (RFCs) as per Change Management Policies.
  • Establish acceptance criteria and testing summaries for equipment.
  • Conduct user acceptance, performance, accessibility, security, and system testing.
  • Prepare pre-deployment release notes, documentation, and records for archival in the change management repository.
  • Collaborate with local divisions to resolve problems and known errors identified during development/testing.
  • Define release plans detailing rollout strategies, production support, and responsibilities.
  • Implement all approved changes and upgrades to systems.
  • Provide resource support for system installation and integration, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Analyze and report all network-related issues.
  • Ensure future solutions meet compatibility and interoperability standards while maximizing network performance.
  • Deliver both local and remote technical support, including assessments, system diagrams, and documentation.
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on hardware, software, operations, and personnel.
  • Document benchmarks, milestones, and test results, providing guidance for implementation.
  • Conduct performance analysis and confirm thorough documentation of captures.
  • Research emerging technologies and advancements, submitting findings for review.
  • Utilize automated routing systems to provide test plans for government review.
  • Develop comprehensive test reports outlining application overviews, testing scopes, and metrics.
  • Perform quality assurance planning and testing of all products before delivery.
  • Manage Fielding, Integration & Testing for systems, ensuring operational functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues across systems.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, policies, and standards during testing and integration.
  • Oversee AV/VI/UC support services across multiple conference rooms and event locations.
  • Conduct maintenance for all AV/VI/UC equipment, excluding UC equipment under maintenance agreements.
  • Administer UC devices in line with vendor guidelines for troubleshooting and upgrades.
  • Install and maintain AV/VI/UC equipment, including video cameras, microphones, and displays.
  • Provide immediate maintenance support for critical rooms, addressing issues within specified timeframes.
  • Maintain a database for all preventive and corrective maintenance actions.
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks and provide detailed reports.
  • Develop lifecycle replacement plans for all audio/video equipment and software.
