Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engagement team in the planning and execution of audit, review, or compilation engagements to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Oversee daily operations of audit engagements, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusion.
  • Provide guidance and support to engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors while promoting open communication with the engagement partner.
  • Collaborate with engagement team seniors or supervisors and partners to resolve client issues and recommend solutions for any legal, regulatory, or accounting challenges encountered during audits.
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines efficiently.
  • Create and monitor engagement budgets to identify and address any inefficiencies during the audit process.
  • Engage in constructive discussions with team members regarding their evaluations and provide appropriate counsel.
  • Participate in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and a valid CPA license.
  • Experience auditing technology clients, SPACs, or a generalist background with various commercial clients.
  • A minimum of 5 years in public accounting, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a proven ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Capability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring abilities, along with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the firm positively to clients.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail and innovative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required based on client assignments.
