Job Overview

The Senior Compliance Auditor plays a crucial role in assessing audit processes, ensuring adherence to established protocols, agreements, and audit standards. This position involves higher-level responsibilities such as reviewing reports, engaging with clients and external parties, and executing various tasks as directed by the Audit Manager. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of standard auditing concepts and practices. The Senior Compliance Auditor operates under direct supervision within a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assess and analyze audits to verify their accuracy, completeness, eligibility, and compliance with established procedures.

2. Perform secondary evaluations of Auditors' work and provide constructive feedback to the Audit Manager.

3. Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining adherence to departmental and professional standards.

4. Delegate tasks effectively to Auditors.

5. Contribute to the formulation of audit programs.

6. Support the ongoing enhancement of processes and policy modifications.

7. Analyze audit findings and prepare recommendations based on assessments.

8. Compile higher-level analyses and recommendations in reports for clients.

9. Conduct follow-up and targeted audits to verify the implementation of recommendations.

10. Draft memorandums, letters, and other written communications for clients and third parties.

11. Provide insights on Auditor training initiatives.

12. Engage with management to discuss audit findings and outcomes.

13. Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

2. At least 5 years of experience in auditing with a comprehensive understanding of auditing practices and procedures.

3. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

4. Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

5. A proactive mindset and forward-thinking approach to challenges.

6. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical capabilities.

7. Flexibility to adapt to evolving policies, procedures, and systems.

8. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

9. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Work Environment

Standard office conditions, involving extended periods of work at a computer. The role includes both in-office and remote work opportunities.
