Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the necessary business insight and institutional knowledge to create and sustain models and processes related to banking and Treasury, including balance sheet management, liquidity, and market risk.
  • Employ advanced quantitative methodologies such as statistical analysis, predictive modeling, linear regressions, and mathematical optimization.
  • Address challenges that arise during the daily operation of models and processes managed by the team.
  • Implement high-quality production code, emphasizing proficiency in R, Python, and Perl programming languages.
  • Create web-based tools to enhance the visualization of model outputs, reporting, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with all model maintenance requirements.
  • Conduct research and development focused on quantitative finance, financial engineering, and mathematical optimization.
  • Execute data analytics and reporting using R and Rmarkdown, leveraging packages such as dplyr, shiny, and ggplot2.
  • Design or improve software applications utilizing Perl, R, Python, and SQL.
  • Write modular, production-ready, and unit-tested code within a collaborative and regulated environment.
  • Utilize Linux OS effectively, including command line interface operations.
  • Remote work options may be available within a reasonable commuting distance.
Required Skills & Experience:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the specified role or a related quantitative position.
  • Must possess 2 years of experience in:
    • Conducting model research and development with an emphasis on quantitative finance, financial engineering, and mathematical optimization.
    • Performing data analytics and reporting using R and Rmarkdown, with expertise in dplyr, shiny, and ggplot2 packages.
    • Designing or enhancing software applications with Perl, R, Python, and SQL.
    • Writing modular, production-quality, and unit-tested code in a collaborative environment.
    • Utilizing Linux OS, including effective command line interface operations.
