About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our expanding team focused on investment pricing and valuation. This role demands a keen analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail. You will have a significant impact on the firm’s investment data and will be a crucial part of our data governance efforts.

Your Contributions
In this role, you will:
1. Analyze and recommend enhancements to processes ensuring accurate daily mark-to-market valuations.
2. Review and proactively improve current procedures to enhance pricing and valuation support.
3. Identify gaps in quality controls and implement measures to ensure accuracy.
4. Collaborate with external pricing vendors to challenge and understand pricing methodologies.
5. Investigate price movements and variances, assessing the reasonableness of fluctuations.
6. Monitor halted or suspended securities and notify relevant teams as necessary.
7. Conduct process reviews in accordance with valuation policies.
8. Prepare and present key valuation metrics to the Valuation Committee.
9. Analyze valuation prices for complex illiquid investment positions.
10. Undertake additional projects to support ongoing business needs.

Qualifications
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-7 years of experience in the investment industry, specifically in securities valuations and pricing.
- Strong understanding of fixed income securities and financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL and VBA is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior investment personnel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Progress towards CFA Charter, MBA, or a Master’s in a quantitative discipline is desirable.
