Job Overview:
Within our Corporate Investments Group, you will leverage expertise in multiple disciplines, including Coding, Scripting/Implementation, Mathematical Modeling, Economics, Statistics, Theory/Valuation, or Financial Economics. You will be responsible for executing quantitative analytics and modeling initiatives that blend quantitative problem-solving skills with intuitive insights. Your role will involve developing innovative models, analytical processes, or systems approaches. A strong foundation in quantitative and analytical skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and products, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate the business acumen and institutional knowledge necessary to develop and sustain models and processes pertinent to banking and Treasury, including balance sheet management, liquidity, global funding, and market risk.
- Employ advanced quantitative methodologies, such as statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and mathematical optimization.
- Address and resolve issues that arise during the daily operation of models and processes managed by the team.
- Implement high-quality production code, particularly utilizing Python and R programming languages.
- Create web-based tools to enhance the visualization of model outputs, reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with all requirements for model maintenance.
- Engage in model research and development with a focus on quantitative finance, financial engineering, and mathematical optimization.
- Conduct data analytics and reporting.
- Design or improve software applications using R, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Write modular, production-quality, and unit-tested code within a collaborative and controlled environment.
- Utilize Linux OS effectively, including proficiency in command line operations (bash).

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative role.
- At least 2 years of experience in each of the following areas: conducting model research and development with a focus on quantitative finance, statistical modeling, and mathematical optimization.
- Proven experience in data analytics and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master's degree or equivalent in Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
