Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Analysts to join our rapidly expanding Valuations & Opinions Group (VOG). Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, a desire to enhance their professional and personal development, and an eagerness to engage with a diverse array of asset classes and industries.

The Analyst role within the VOG presents an exceptional opportunity to gain expertise in portfolio valuations, with the possibility of participating in valuation projects across various services.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Analyst, you will serve as the analytical backbone of the Valuations & Opinions Group, collaborating with clients that include some of the most prestigious institutional investment firms in the industry. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the portfolio valuation team in assessing illiquid debt and equity securities for hedge funds, private equity funds, and business development companies.
  • Conducting financial statement analyses and various quantitative and qualitative evaluations.
  • Reviewing client investment documents and financial models to gain insights into the companies or securities under analysis.
  • Compiling and presenting statistical summaries of financial information and ratios in an organized format.
  • Researching and analyzing published financial data, including public company filings and analyst reports.
  • Identifying relevant comparable public companies and M&A transactions using industry-standard information services.
  • Constructing and reviewing financial analyses, including discounted cash flow and guideline company analyses.

Research Responsibilities:
You will also be tasked with providing insights on:

  • General economic conditions and industry-specific trends.
  • Acquisitions and divestitures within targeted sectors.
  • Investment characteristics of publicly traded and privately held securities.

Additionally, you will participate in due diligence meetings, engage with clients, and assist in the preparation of client deliverables and fee proposals.
