Job Title: Administrative Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist to join our team at Penn State University Talent Acquisition. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide office management and administrative support to the team, including maintaining calendars, drafting correspondence, and making referrals to resource partners.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling, material preparation, and agendas.
  • Assist with grant management, including collecting client data, preparing reports, and developing working knowledge of multiple databases.
  • Support marketing efforts, including assisting with monthly webinar series, coordinating print orders, and managing collateral inventories.
  • Provide financial support, including monitoring budgets, processing financial transactions, and maintaining inventories.
  • Supervise work-study students, provide guidance, and review and approve timecards.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or higher and 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Salary:

The salary range for this position is $38,000.00 - $61,000.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
