About the Role

VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes or community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients' speech and language needs, developing personalized plans to address their challenges.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication skills, addressing issues such as aphasia, dysarthria, and apraxia.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
  • Document patient progress, updating care plans and outcomes as needed.
  • Identify counseling needs and implement teaching strategies to support patients and their families.
  • Monitor the quality and appropriateness of services provided, adhering to agency infection control and safety policies.
Requirements
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community-based experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid NJ driver's license.
