This exciting opportunity at a progressive Skilled Nursing Facility in Albany offers a highly competitive salary, great medical/dental benefits, and a team-oriented environment where you can collaborate with PT/OT, nurses, physicians, and dieticians to meet the comprehensive needs of patients.

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work in partnership with a team of SLPs with managerial support directly from an SLP, providing short-term rehabilitation, geared toward a functional return home, and delivering restorative therapy to improve the quality of life of long-term residents.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Providing tube feed weaning and cognitive programs
• Interacting with families and nursing staff on patients' after-care programs
• Treating patients under the Patient Driven Payment Model Reimbursement System

We believe in a team approach with collaboration and support geared toward providing high-quality speech therapy services to our patients.

This full-time benefit-eligible position is ideal for experienced CCC-SLPs. Per Diem opportunities also available.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology (SLP) therapy program
• Current State licensure
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Goal-oriented approach with ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and utilize technology to perform electronic documentation
