About the Role

VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes or community settings within Essex County, NJ.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of action in collaboration with physicians
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to patients in their homes or community settings
  • Document all changes in patient condition and update care plans accordingly
  • Identify counseling needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies
  • Monitor quality and appropriateness of services provided
  • Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies
  • Meet agency requirements for absenteeism and appearance
Requirements
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community-based experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid NJ driver's license
