Job Overview

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional therapy services to students in schools. This full-time, school-based position is located in West New York, NJ.


As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings. You will also collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.


Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
