Credentialing Specialist

Optima Medical is a prominent healthcare organization based in Arizona, comprising 22 facilities and over 90 healthcare professionals dedicated to serving more than 120,000 patients across the state. Work Arrangement:
After completing the training period, you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, allowing for two days of remote work each week, contingent on performance. Candidates must reside in the metro Phoenix area or nearby regions.
Key Responsibilities of the Credentialing Specialist:
- Oversee the expiration of licenses, board certifications, and other professional credentials, ensuring timely renewals.
- Handle the processing of initial and re-credentialing applications efficiently.
- Address inquiries from health plan providers in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update provider profiles on platforms such as CAQH, PECOS, and NPPES.
- Monitor the status of credentialing and enrollment applications on a daily basis.
- Communicate credentialing updates to relevant departments as necessary.
Qualifications for the Credentialing Specialist:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
- At least 1 year of experience with ADP systems.
- Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and possess strong Excel skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and perform well under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of time management.
