Overview

Work Schedule

This position operates Monday through Friday, with variable shifts from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures with precision and independent judgment.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and protocols to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining established safety standards.
  • Engage in quality control and assurance activities to uphold departmental standards.
  • Document relevant information in electronic reporting systems accurately.
  • Participate in required meetings and continuing education to enhance professional skills.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment to exceed patient expectations.
Qualifications

Education: Sufficient training to achieve certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound.

Experience: New graduates are welcome; less than 10 months of experience in a hospital or clinic setting as a Cardiac and/or Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is required.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credentials from ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credentials from CCI are required.
