Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of infrastructure-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IT infrastructure, including networking, data centers, cloud services, and server management, with proven experience in project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, including hardware upgrades, network expansions, cloud migrations, and disaster recovery implementations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and business units, to define project objectives, scope, and requirements.
  • Team Coordination: Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, and other technical staff to ensure that project milestones are achieved.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including procurement, contract negotiations, and ensuring delivery according to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all infrastructure solutions meet business requirements and comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Ensure that adequate support and maintenance processes are in place following the deployment of infrastructure solutions.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure, networking, data centers, or cloud computing.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including networking (LAN/WAN), cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), data centers, storage solutions, and server management.
  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Slack, MS Teams).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and handle high-pressure environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure upgrades or cloud migrations.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and contracts.
  • ITIL certification or similar experience in IT service management.
  • Familiarity with security standards and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
