Lead Financial Analyst

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst. This role is essential in managing the comprehensive process of Electronic Accounts Payable and Receivable. The selected candidate will facilitate communication, resolve accounting discrepancies, and support our teams in addressing inquiries related to financial forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting assistance to the management team on-site.
- Review daily financial transactions, including deposits and credit card reports.
- Maintain inventory control and cost management protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including fiscal close processes and audit documentation.
- Perform fundamental accounting tasks such as entering invoices and sales data into the general ledger, ensuring comprehensive file maintenance, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Analyze financial data to enhance revenue and profitability.
- Prepare operating forecasts and track monthly profit and loss statements along with balance sheet activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of two years of experience in revenue management and cash handling.
- Experience in accounting within the foodservice or retail sector is required; familiarity with foodservice operations is a plus.
- Ability to generate monthly financial statements, key performance reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
- Proficient in planning, organizing, and managing complex processes while analyzing moderately complex financial data.
- Experience with sales analysis and reporting, including familiarity with POS systems and financial reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adept at juggling multiple priorities and maintaining professional relationships.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential. Strong analytical and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic work environment. Adherence to the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct is expected.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $72,000, with variations based on factors such as location, education, training, and experience.
