Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver efficient, confidential, and precise service in processing all accounting information for the department and its members.
- Prepare monthly reports for the Board of Directors.
- Oversee the month-end closing process.
- Manage and maintain monthly bank reconciliations and other financial documents.
- Reconcile monthly General Ledger balance sheets and ensure accuracy with the CFO.
- Process Accounts Payable promptly and maintain balanced Accounts Receivable.
- Develop and maintain departmental procedures as necessary.
- Provide backup support for additional operational accounting functions.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in accounting, preferably within nonprofit or financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $60K - $75K, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
