Key Responsibilities:

This role encompasses various manufacturing and cost accounting duties, providing insights into Lutron's supply chain management. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing plant budgets and establishing work center rates.
  • Setting and monitoring standard inventory costs.
  • Conducting variance analysis and reporting on gross margins.
  • As your expertise grows, you will be expected to perform in-depth analyses, lead projects, and identify areas for operational enhancement.

This position presents significant growth potential, allowing you to collaborate with business leaders to support and improve Lutron's operational efficiency and market reputation.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong organizational skills and attention to detail in executing daily and monthly accounting tasks, including posting journal entries, transaction analysis, and account reconciliation.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and reporting standards, proactively identifying discrepancies and raising concerns as necessary.
  • Review and analyze financial outcomes in collaboration with accounting and business leadership.
  • Contribute to the annual financial closing process and various compliance initiatives.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Build professional relationships across multiple departments.
  • Take initiative in problem-solving and driving positive change.
  • Occasionally travel to Lutron manufacturing sites for training, inventory assessments, and to gain insights into daily operations to further your professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 across all degrees.
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
