We are currently in search of a Senior Tax Consultant to enhance our proactive finance team. This role presents a unique chance for a driven and meticulous professional to utilize their tax knowledge and take charge of our tax division. The chosen candidate will be primarily accountable for managing all tax-related functions, encompassing tax planning, compliance, and research. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will also be instrumental in reducing tax liabilities, ensuring precision in tax reporting, and staying informed about current tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and prepare all tax operations, including tax planning, compliance, and research to guarantee accurate and timely tax reporting.
  • Develop and execute strategic tax planning initiatives aimed at minimizing tax liabilities and risks.
  • Supervise the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during tax audits and examinations.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, providing insights on the financial implications for the organization.
  • Lead and mentor the tax team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to offer tax advice and support business decisions.
  • Prepare and present tax reports to senior management, delivering insights and recommendations.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in tax.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and various types of tax returns.
  • Strong understanding of tax codes, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex tax information clearly.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, committed to ethical standards.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
