We are currently in search of a Senior Tax Consultant to enhance our dynamic finance team. This is a remarkable opportunity for a highly driven and detail-oriented professional to utilize their tax expertise and lead our tax division. The chosen candidate will be primarily accountable for managing all tax-related functions, including tax planning, compliance, and research. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will also play a crucial role in minimizing tax liabilities, ensuring precision in tax reporting, and staying informed about current tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and prepare all tax operations, ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting through effective tax planning, compliance, and research.
  • Develop and execute strategic tax planning initiatives aimed at minimizing tax liabilities and associated risks.
  • Supervise the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during tax audits and examinations.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, providing insights on their financial implications to the organization.
  • Lead and mentor the tax team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Work closely with other departments to provide tax advice and support for business decisions.
  • Prepare and present tax reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation or a related area is preferred.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and various types of tax returns.
  • Strong understanding of tax codes, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex tax information clearly.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, committed to ethical standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
