The US base salary range for this full-time position is $151,200 - $184,800 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Risk team employs a distinctive approach to risk management, portfolio oversight, and engagement with our community members. You will have the chance to transform data into actionable insights through analytics, data science, and experimentation, contributing to the company's significant growth. This position will serve as the key representative for risk analytics in credit and fraud risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively analyze data to identify opportunities for enhancing our risk management strategies.
  • Conduct trend analysis by researching and evaluating risk patterns, providing essential information for developing risk-prevention methodologies.
  • Establish performance metrics and create reports to assess risk mitigation effectiveness.
  • Integrate decision-making within the business context, considering broader economic impacts, brand reputation, and personnel implications.
  • Collaborate closely with the machine learning team to refine risk models using business insights and historical data.
  • Work cross-functionally with U.S. team members from Machine Learning, Product, Engineering, and Operations to address risk.
  • Develop and implement risk policies within the internal risk management framework.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced with Python.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a credit or fraud risk analytics role within the financial sector.
  • Solid understanding of fintech risk fundamentals, including familiarity with industry risk trends and strategy development.
  • Ability to clearly communicate metrics and data, translating analytical insights into business-relevant metrics.
  • Competence in applying statistical and probability concepts to split testing or lifetime value estimation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
  • Creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work setting.
