About the Product Team

The Product Team at Rubrik plays a crucial role in advancing our mission of data security by developing solutions that simplify the complexities of managing cyber resilience across diverse applications and data types. We aim to create user-friendly experiences that address the most challenging enterprise issues.
About the Role

In this position, reporting to the Head of Monetization, Packaging, and Pricing Strategy, you will devise and implement strategies for market entry with a focus on product monetization and business models that resonate with customer value.

Your contributions will have a direct impact on our overarching strategy and success. You will be responsible for crafting solutions to intricate business challenges that are pivotal for our leadership team. Collaboration will be key as you gather and analyze data, develop and test hypotheses, lead problem-solving initiatives, and formulate recommendations for management presentation. You will also support execution and engage with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders, including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering teams. Our team is dedicated to uncovering value and opportunities for the business. Rubrik's monetization team is integrated within product management and reports to the Chief Product Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic business model development for core platform products and emerging markets.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance product monetization strategies.
  • Work across departments to implement new business models involving Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Lead the operational execution and application of cross-functional pricing and monetization strategies.
  • Act as a player-coach, enhancing the capabilities of your team members.

You possess the ability to steer monetization and business model strategies through a profound understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and technological advancements. Your analytical mindset and curiosity drive your success. You are adept at financial modeling and excel at translating complex information into clear, actionable strategies, effectively communicating your insights in both written and visual formats. You are resourceful, results-oriented, and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree; an MBA from a top institution is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 6+ years of experience in pricing, management consulting, investment banking, product management, or business operations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to convert financial models into executive-level presentations.
  • A genuine passion for technical products.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
The salary range for this role is competitive and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires based on U.S. location. The final salary will be determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
