Job Overview

Technical Project Manager - Applications/System Integrations

A prominent technology firm is in search of a Technical Project Manager - Applications/System Integrations. The selected individual will oversee a diverse array of vital technology initiatives, encompassing both discovery and implementation projects for enterprise applications and system integrations. This role demands the management of large-scale and intricate technical projects, utilizing project management best practices to foster ongoing enhancement and guarantee consistent, high-quality results.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $60/hr
  • Employment Type: W2 with comprehensive benefits including Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Retirement Savings Program
  • Standard Work Hours: 40 hours/week, with potential for extension or conversion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Lead the complete project management lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Independently manage projects that require high levels of functional integration across multiple disciplines.
    • Develop action plans and estimate resource requirements, including management, labor, materials, and time needed for project completion.
    • Facilitate discussions and negotiations to drive recommendations and consensus among stakeholders.
    • Implement and execute a comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to project scope and stakeholders.
    • Manage stakeholder engagement and project risks, ensuring effective communication and reporting on project status.
  • PMO Processes and Tools:
    • Assist in administering the project management office’s project intake process, including coordinating project qualifications and demand management.
    • Support process improvement initiatives as outlined in the project management office roadmap.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex projects with significant size and performance risk.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or completion of a Project Management certificate program is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage large IT infrastructure projects, particularly in dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing project budgets effectively.
  • Demonstrated resilience and problem-solving skills in various situations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software development lifecycle (SDLC) is strongly desired.
