POSITION: Offshore Subsea Quality Inspector

Wood is in search of an experienced Offshore Subsea Quality Inspector to join our team for various offshore initiatives. This position entails performing thorough evaluations on a range of oil and gas equipment both onshore and offshore. As a vital member of the Field Engineering & Inspection Solutions division, the individual will be instrumental in upholding industry standards and ensuring adherence to quality protocols.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct visual assessments of topside and subsea oil and gas equipment
- Implement offshore inspection operations
- Create detailed inspection documentation
- Employ NEXUS IC Software for effective data management
- Deliver real-time video commentary throughout inspections
- Assist in the mobilization and demobilization of equipment
- Contribute to post-inspection review activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least five years of relevant inspection experience
- Practical knowledge of subsea equipment
- Familiarity with NDE techniques and computer networking
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Willingness to work offshore for extended durations
- Adherence to HSSEA regulations
- Physical ability to perform lifting and manual tasks
