Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation and Appointment Booking
    • Develop and execute effective external marketing strategies to attract new members, including promotions, events, and community outreach.
    • Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
    • Book membership appointments through proactive phone activities and meet or exceed monthly appointment goals.
    • Ensure that appointments are booked to translate into new members and meet or exceed monthly membership sales targets.
  • Guest Touring, Membership Presentations, and Personal Production
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring that they receive a comprehensive tour of our facilities and are presented with membership options that meet their needs.
    • Use company-approved presentations to showcase membership benefits and features, resulting in a high percentage of guests converting to members.
    • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets for new member sales, personal training revenue, and electronic funds transfer sets.
    • Hold sales team members accountable for meeting sales behaviors and key metrics set forth by management.
  • Customer Service
    • Follow up with new members to ensure that they are satisfied with their experience and provide exceptional customer service to resolve any issues or concerns.
    • Assist in maintaining a clean and operational facility, ensuring that members have a positive experience.
    • Accountable for saving members who are requesting to cancel their membership, working with management to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Miscellaneous
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including sales schedules, uniform policies, and timekeeping requirements.
    • Participate in mandatory meetings, including daily production meetings and monthly all-team meetings.
Requirements
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Proven sales experience and knowledge of sales practices and techniques.
    • General understanding of the fitness industry and its trends.
    • Ability to work with computers and software applications.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Independent, self-motivated, and organized with strong time management skills.
  • Education and Certifications
    • High school degree or equivalent required.
    • Must complete company sales training and orientation program.
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred.
