Patient Care Coordinator

The US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities seeks a Patient Care Coordinator to support the Dallas Presbyterian clinic. This role delivers high-quality, evidence-based care to patients close to home, making the best available cancer care accessible to all communities.

Job DescriptionThis role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage new patient referrals, provide exceptional customer service, and assess patient needs to prioritize and triage referrals. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage new patient referrals within department standards.
- Provide strong customer service to patients and internal stakeholders.
- Assess patient needs to prioritize and triage referrals.
- Process patient registration and scheduling for exams and procedures.
- Distribute medical forms to patients and maintain updated patient records.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of revenue cycle and/or patient access experience in healthcare.
- Knowledge of PMS and EHR platforms, and Microsoft Office Products.
This role requires regular presence at the employee site, sitting, talking, and hearing. It also requires standing and walking for extensive periods, lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs, and corrected vision and hearing.
