Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Transport Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for coordinating patient transports, dispatching staff, and ensuring timely responses to transportation requests.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient transports and ensure timely responses to transportation requests
  • Dispatch staff and manage transportation schedules
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role or in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • CPR certification and valid driver's license (if applicable)
