Job Summary

WR Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our GeoNavigation Technologies Division. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly optimized software libraries, tools, and APIs for real-time computer graphics and general-purpose computing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve new and existing software stack to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to review specifications and verify correctness and efficiency of implementations.
  • Communicate with game studios to analyze current real-time rendering, content creation pipelines, and Artificial Intelligence technology to identify areas for new development.
  • Analyze runtime performance data collected to optimize software performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related scientific discipline.
  • At least 15 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Background in Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) programming.
  • Ability to support division travel to trade shows and customer sites on a limited basis.
