Position Overview:
The HR Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to develop and manage compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance Oversight:
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Multi-State Compliance Management:
- Manage compliance requirements across multiple states, ensuring consistency and adherence to state-specific regulations.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and regulatory agencies as needed to interpret and address compliance issues.
- Geo Administration and Licensing:
- Facilitate the acquisition and maintenance of necessary licenses, permits, and certifications required for operations in various states.
- Coordinate with regional managers and operational teams to streamline processes and ensure timely renewals and updates.
- Policy Development and Training:
- Develop and update compliance policies, guidelines, and training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organization.
- Risk Management and Reporting:
- Monitor and assess compliance risks and provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize compliance-related liabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal departments such as Legal, Human Resources, Operations, and Finance to align compliance efforts with business objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on compliance matters to internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP) preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance management, preferably in a multi-state environment; BPO experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
The anticipated base salary range for this remote position is between $70,000 - $100,000. In addition, Everise provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include commission earnings and other benefit programs.
