Position Overview

BelovED Community Charter School is seeking a dedicated Visual Arts Educator for our Elementary School. This role is pivotal in nurturing creativity and artistic expression among our students.

Compensation: $62,000-$82,000+

Support for Educators:

Our educators are integral members of a multidisciplinary team, receiving continuous coaching and professional development from our Leadership Team. They collaborate with peers in professional learning communities to enhance lesson planning and problem-solving.

Additional Support Includes:

  • Ample planning periods and designated lunch breaks for lesson preparation;
  • A research-based curriculum with supporting materials, allowing for creativity without starting from scratch;
  • High-quality formative assessments to identify student mastery;
  • Access to specialists and counselors to support students facing challenges;
  • After-school program staffing by Academic Tutors to help manage educators' workloads.

Qualifications:

Required Certifications:

Candidates must hold a valid NJ Department of Education CE, CEAS, or Standard Art Teacher License. Those without the necessary certification cannot be considered for this position.
