We are currently seeking a Senior Paralegal to provide essential support for commercial contracting within the Indirect Supply Chain Law team. This role will primarily focus on internal procurement of goods and services across various Boeing divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a substantial volume of supplier agreements.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to collect and analyze information, identify potential issues and risks, and propose viable solutions or mitigations while actively participating in contract negotiations.
  • Draft and negotiate a high volume of commercial, technology, and other legal documents, including services agreements, purchase agreements, confidentiality agreements, and statements of work, ensuring compliance with Boeing Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide clear and strategic legal advice to internal procurement teams and business clients regarding business and legal issues.
  • When necessary, escalate contractual issues to Attorneys, supplying relevant background information, concise summaries of the issues, and suggested mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare letters, memoranda, and other written communications while safeguarding confidentiality and privilege.
  • Work independently to resolve challenges while also consulting with Attorneys on final solutions.
  • Oversee and maintain Law Department projects, processes, and policies.
  • Exhibit a cooperative and positive attitude, effectively communicating with military and international clients.
  • Participate in team-oriented tasks and projects, including developing and delivering legal training programs for internal client groups.
  • Conduct legal research using specialized software and other resources, analyze findings, and draft legal memoranda for Attorney review.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Work Environment: This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in-house or with a law firm, specifically in commercial contracting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience, including in-house experience with a large corporation, focusing on procurement and a diverse range of commercial contracts.
